Family planning is a population control programme in China.
Being born in the 90's, I can relate to this, being surrounded by only children, and I often hear of families who do a lot of different things to have more children, but more often than not, they give up on the process of getting pregnant or use very damaging birth control methods.
This book uses the format of a Chinese red head document, with many different "notices" as chapters, to reveal the mask of family planning and the real Chinese society under the whitewash. At the end, I chose a photo from each moment of my birth to show how the uninformed people behave in their daily lives, and how much suffering is going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.
计划生育是中国的一个控制人口的计划。
我作为90年代出生的人深有感触，周围全是独生子女，经常有听说有些家庭为了多生几个小孩做出很多不同举动，然而更多的是放弃怀孕的进程或者采用非常损害身体的节育工具。
这本书采用了中国红头文件的格式，通过很多个不同的“通知”作为章节，向大家揭示了计划生育的面具，粉饰太平下的真实中国社会。最后我从我出生的每一个时刻选择一张照片去表达不明真相的群众在日常生活中的表现，在我们不知道的背后很多痛苦正在发生。
